The CERT Training curriculum was updated in August 2019. The new training manual can be found here...
The previous curriculum was dated January 2011.
During the roll-out conference calls for these classes it was noted that one of the changes was the removal of Triage from the material. This was done because in some jurisdictions it is felt Triage should be done by paid professionals rather than something CERT should do. It was also noted that just because it was removed from the "Basic" curriculum, doesn't mean it should be dropped; that many CERT Teams provide advanced training that goes above the basics, and this is an acceptable practice. The rule is that you can always add to the curriculum, you just can't take away material.
